The CG, PAF, Lt Gen Jeffrey F Delgado AFP attended an important gathering of Air Force Chiefs in the Asia-Pacific region at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii from September 11-12 for the Pacific Air Chiefs’ Symposium (PACS) based on an invitation from the US Air Force Chief of Staff General Mark Welsh III. Nineteen other air chiefs in Pacific region were also invited to attend the said activity.

The symposium aims to bring together Asia-Pacific air chiefs for the purpose of building relationships and promoting mutual understanding of common air power issues and challenges.

Furthermore, based in the Pacific Air Force (PACAF) news article, “the symposium helped further the Air Force's partnership with the countries by showcasing PACAF's use of airpower in humanitarian assistance and disaster relief operations and providing a forum for the Air Chiefs to discuss training standardization and improve interoperability.”

In one of the conferences in Hawaii, Lt Gen Delgado presided as the Dean of PACS 2015.

Gen. Lori J. Robinson, Pacific Air Forces commander, hosted the symposium and the 68th Annual Air Force Birthday Ball in Hawaii with the invited Pacific air chiefs as special guest. After Hawaii, the Pacific air chiefs flew to Washington, D.C., for the Air Force Association Annual Air and Space Conference and Technology Exhibition from September 14-16.
