The 15th Strike Wing welcomed its new Wing Commander, COLONEL ARAUS ROBERT F MUSICO PAF (GSC) during the Change of Command Ceremony held at 460th Aircraft Maintenance Group Hangar, Major Danilo Atienza Air Base, Cavite City on March 02, 2019.
A graduate of the US Air Force Academy (USAFA) in 1990 and a member of the Philippine Military Academy “Bigkis Lahi” Class of 1990, COL MUSICO is a full blooded Trojan being a Flight Examiner and Commander of the OV-10 aircraft and served as the Director for Operations and Deputy Wing Commander prior to this position.
COL MUSICO replaced BGEN AUGUSTO D DELA PEÑA AFP who is now the Deputy Chief of Staff for Education and Training, J8. BGEN DELA PEÑA served as the 15SW Commander from May 10, 2018 to Feb 20, 2019.
