PAF CIVILIAN HUMAN RESOURCES DONATE PORTION OF THEIR SALARY FOR COVID-19

Following the recent salary deduction and donation made by the Officers and Enlisted Personnel of the Armed Forces of the Philippines in support to nationwide fight against the Covid-19 pandemic, the PAF Civilian Human Resources (CivHR) voluntarily committed to donating a portion of their salaries for the month of May.

This generous and laudable gesture will accumulate a total amount of PhP 536,600.00 which will be turned over to the Office of Civil Defense for the procurement of medical supplies and equipment of healthcare workers and other frontliners.

PAF C130 FERRIES NUCLEIC ACID DIAGNOSTIC KITS FOR PHILIPPINE RED CROSS

The Philippine Air Force C-130 aircraft picked-up Nucleic Acid Diagnostic Kits (Reagent) for the Philippine Red Cross from Changsa International Airport, China to Colonel Jesus Villamor Air Base, Pasay City on Tuesday night, April 28, 2020. 

A total of 340 boxes (5,777kgs) of kits were received by Ms. Rita Tobias, Procurement Manager of the Philippine Red Cross. 

These kits will be used by the Philippine Red Cross in their molecular laboratory in order to increase the country’s capacity in COVID-19 testing, which can conduct 12,000 tests per day. 

PAF DISTRIBUTES RELIEF GOODS IN INACCESSIBLE TERRAIN IN BENGUET

The Philippine Air Force Tactical Operations Group 1 based at Baguio City conducted relief operations on areas not accessible to any land transportation in Brgy Baden and Brgy Tacadang, Kibungan in Benguet on April 29, 2020.

Due to the remote location and inaccessible terrain, the Office of Civil Defense Cordillera Administrative Region and Philippine Red Cross Benguet chapter coordinated with the PAF TOG 1 to ferry goods to the said areas thus the PAF utilized its UH-1D Utility helicopter and successfully ferried a total of 605 food packs (6, 050 kgs).

PAF COMPLETES SEVEN EMERGENCY QUARANTINE FACILITIES FOR COVID-19 PATIENTS

The Philippine Air Force under the leadership of the Commanding General, Philippine Air Force LTGEN ALLEN T PAREDES AFP, through the 355th Aviation Engineer Wing in collaboration with the Armed Forces of the Philippines, WTA Architecture and Design Studio, and other stakeholders, completed another Emergency Quarantine Facilities for COVID-19 patients. 

Seven (7) EQFs were successfully constructed in various locations within and outside Metro Manila which commenced on March 30, 2020: 

PAF RECEIVES DONATION FROM CLARK DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION AND CLARK INVESTORS AND LOCATORS ASSOCIATION

In support to the Philippine Air Force medical frontliners against COVID-19, the Clark Development Corporation headed by their President-CEO Noel F Manankil and Clark Investors and Locators Association led by their Chairman Dr. Irineo Bong Alvaro Jr donated Personal Protective Equipment and medical supplies to the Philippine Air Force at Villamor Air Base, Pasay City on April 27, 2020.

PAF TRANSPORTS RELIEF GOODS FROM IFUGAO

To ensure food availability and to support the government in sustaining the production of food supplies  amidst  the  threat  of  COVID-19,  the Philippine  Air  Force  through  the  PAF Civil-Military Operations Group, 710th Special Operations Wing, and 520th Air Base Wing transported relief goods from the Province of Ifugao to General Trias, Cavite on April 22,
2020.

PAF DISTRIBUTES RICE AND FOOD SUPPLEMENTS IN RIZAL AND BATANGAS HELD

In partnership with GO SHARE Philippines represented by Ms. Mel Bugtong, the Philippine Air Force though the PAF Civil-Military Operations Group distributed rice and food supplements at Rizal and in Batangas on April 23, 2020.

A total of 800 pieces of 5 kilos sacks of rice and 10 boxes of food supplements were distributed to various beneficiaries such as the families of tricycle drivers and garbage collectors in Gumamela II, Sta Cruz, Antipolo City, Rizal.

PAF PILOTS AND CREW WORK TIRELESSLY TO COMBAT COVID-19

The Philippine Air Force once again successfully performed significant accomplishments in support to the continuous efforts of the Philippine Government to fight the COVID-19 pandemic.  

On 22 April 2020, the NC212i of the PAF safely airlifted assorted medical supplies and PPEs at Iloilo International Airport, Cabatuan, Iloilo. 

PAF C130 FERRIES BGI LABORATORY EQUIPMENT

The Philippine Air Force C-130 aircraft picked-up BGI laboratory equipment for COVID-19 testing. The aircraft departed at Shenzhen, China around 12:10am and arrived at Base operations, Clark Air Base, Mabalacat City Pampanga at around 2:45am April 22, 2020.

The Department of Health representatives received a total of 10,000lbs composed of 66 boxes of BGI laboratory equipment.

The Philippine Air Force under the leadership of the Commanding General, Philippine Air Force LTGEN ALLEN T PAREDES AFP, through the 355th Aviation Engineer Wing in collaboration with the Armed Forces of the Philippines, WTA Architecture and Design Studio, students of MSIB 2021 of Asian Institute Management and other stakeholders, assisted in the completion of the Emergency Quarantine Facility (EQF) in Fernando Air Base in Lipa City, Batangas on April 14, 2020.
