The PAF's new C295M continued its personnel and cargo ferry missions to different parts of the country. Captain Geraldine Abigail Matienzo, the first female pilot of said aircraft, flew the mission as co-pilot on March 31,2015.

After the C295M's landing in Mactan from Villamor Air Base, she landed on Edwin Andrews Air Base in Zamboanga at exactly 1:31pm and eventually on Davao Airport at 5:41pm on the same day.

SECOND LIEUTENANT KAREN EVE E. MANTE PAF, the first Filipino female graduate of Japan National Defense Academy (JNDA) pays a courtesy call on the Commanding General, Philippine Air Force, LT GEN JEFFREY F DELGADO AFP in his office at Villamor Air Base last March 31, 2015.

2LT MANTE chose to join the Philippine Air Force on her 2nd year of training in JNDA. She distinguished herself for graduating with an award as an outstanding cadet as well as earning a badge for excellence in physical training.

Just a day after the blessing and turnover to the Philippine Air Force, C295M with tail nr 129 completed its maiden flight from Villamor Air Base to Mactan, Palawan and return to Villamor Air Base with its mission to ferry logistical requirements and military personnel on March 31,2015.

The C295M departed Villamor Air Base at 8:29am and arrived BGen Benito Ebuen Air Base (Mactan Air Base) at exactly 10:17 am with 220th Airlift Wing personnel lined-up to welcome their new air asset.

COL EMIGDIO D GUEVARRA JR GSC (PAF) assumes the position of the Wing Commander of 520th Air Base Wing in Col Jesus Villamor Air Base, Pasay City.

The first of the three brand-new Airbus C295M (M stands for Military) medium lift fixed-wing aircraft under the PAF’s modernization program was blessed and formally turned over to the Philippine Air Force in a formal ceremony with the Secretary of National Defense (SND), Honorable Voltaire Gazmin as Guest of Honor last March 30, 2015 at around 8am in front of the Grandstand of Col Jesus Villamor Air Base.

Delegates from the Master in National Security Administration (MNSA) Regular Class 50 of the NDCP visited the Headquarters Philippine Air Force, CJVAB Pasay City last March 26, 2015.

The delegation of 64 students was composed of 37 military officers, 19 civilian government officials, 3 selected private sector executives and 5 allied military officers from Malaysia, Nigeria and Sri Lanka and was headed by Dr Fermin R De Leon Jr PhD, the MNSA President.

LTC PHILIP JOSE M PAJA PAF (GSC) assumed as the new Chief of the Air Force Human Rights Office in a Change of Chief of Office Ceremony last March 25, 2015 at the Hall of Flags, Colonel Jesus Villamor Air Base. He replaces COL JOVEN F RONAN PAF (GSC) who retired from the service. The ceremony was presided by the Chief of Air Staff, MGEN SALVADOR MELCHOR B MISON JR AFP.

Thirty-nine new pilots received their Aeronautical Badge (Pilot's Wings) after completing their Military Pilot Training (MPT) course at the Philippine Air Force Flying School (PAFFS). The traditional graduation ceremony was held at the Air Education and Training Command Hangar A, Fernando Air Base, Lipa City last March 24, 2015.

Towards Quality Management System, the 420th Supply Wing has various improvements to make the Wing effective and more efficient when it comes to supply system. The 420th Supply Wing is a vital unit of the PAF mandated to Provide Supply Support to all units of the Philippine Air Force.
