PAF Welcomed A New Vice Commander

MGEN EMERALDO C MAGNAYE AFP assumed new position as Vice Commander, Philippine Air Force in a Change of Chief of Ceremony held on June 8, 2015 at the Hall of Flags, Colonel Jesus Villamor Air Base, Pasay City with the Commanding General, PAF LTGEN JEFFREY F DELGADO AFP as the Presiding Officer.

MGEN MAGNAYE AFP replaced MGEN EDGAR R FALLORINA AFP who assumed post as The Deputy Chief of Staff, AFP, a 3-star position, last May 29, 2015 at General Headquarters Camp Emilio Aguinaldo, Quezon City.

MGEN MAGNAYE was a “Magna Cum Laude” and graduated Nr 2 of PMA “Matikas” Class 1983. He was a UH-1H helicopter pilot as a young officer who flew various missions in the different parts of the country from Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.

Prior to this new assignment, he was the Division Commander of the 3rd Air Division at Edwin Andrews Air Base, Zamboanga City. His other key positions held were; Squadron Commander of 208th Tactical Helicopter Squadron; Commanding Officer of Air Force Management Information Center; Group Commander of Tactical Operation Group 10; Director for Operations, 250th Presidential Airlift Wing; Assistant Chief of Air Staff for Plans (A-5), Wing Commander of 530th Air Base Wing, where he earned his first star and as the Assistant Superintendent of the Philippine Military Academy to name a few.
