PAF PARTICIPATES IN THE ARMED FORCES OF THE PHILIPPINES JOINT EXERCISE “DAGAT, LANGIT AT LUPA” (AJEX DAGIT-PA) 2019

The Philippine Air Force participated in the Armed Forces of the Philippines Joint Exercise 03-19 “Dagat, Langit at Lupa” (AJEX DAGIT-PA) at different areas in Palawan, Zambales, Nueva Ecija, and Tarlac from September 16 to 27, 2019. 

AJEX DAGIT-PA 03-19 is a unilateral exercise focused on enhancing the readiness of AFP forces on Joint Operations. 

Participated by various AFP units, the exercise is composed of the following three (3) major events: Command Post Exercise (CPX); Field Training Exercise (FTX); and Cyber Defense Exercise (CYDEX). 

Different aircraft of the PAF were utilized during the conduct of exercises which include: FA-50PH and S-211 of the 5th Fighter Wing at the Combined Arms Live Exercise (CALFEX); SF-260TP and MG-520MD of the 15th Strike Wing and UH-1H/D of 205th Tactical Helicopter Wing during the Field Training Exercise; and, Huey II and S-76A Air Ambulance of 505th Search and Rescue Group were flown during Deck Landing, Air Evacuation and Vertical Insertion Exercises. Meanwhile, C-208B and N-22 were also utilized during Joint ISR Operations.

Combat Air Controllers and Counter-Terrorist Units from 710th Special Operations Wing also participated during the conduct the said exercises.

Moreover, personnel from 950th CEISG participated at the Cyber Defense Exercise held at Camp General Emilio Aguinaldo, Quezon City.
