PAF Gives AJ-3 a Retirement Ceremony

The currently assigned Assistant Deputy Chief of Staff for Operations, AJ3, BGEN ARTURO JOSE G ORTICIO JR AFP rendered his retirement call to the Commanding General, PAF, LT GEN EDGAR R FALLORINA AFP and receives a retirement ceremony at the CJVAB Grandstand, Col Jesus Villamor Air Base Pasay City today March 18, 2016.

BGEN ORTICIO is a member of the Philippine Military Academy Class “Maharlika” 1984 and a fighter pilot qualified to fly the S-211 jets and F-5 fighter jets.

He held various positions in the PAF such as the Chief Operations, 5th Fighter Wing, the Director of Public Information Office (PIO) and the Secretary of Air Staff (OSAS) in 2002.

He was also assigned at the Office of the Assistant Chief of Air Staff for Plans, (OA-5) and performed different capacity as Director for International and Inter-Agency Affairs, Director for International Affairs, Acting Executive Officer and Director for Weapons and Environmental Quality Technology Development.

In 2006, he was assigned as the Group Commander of Tactical Operations Group 8 (Tacloban). He later became the Commandant of the Air Force Officer School (AFOS) in 2010 and the Deputy Wing Commander of Air Defense Wing in 2014.

He also possess a Graduate Diploma in Strategic Information Management at the Asia Pacific College and a certificate for French Language taken at the Foreign Service Institute, Department of Foreign Affairs.
