A Testimonial Golf Tournament for a cause was conducted in honor for the retiring Commanding General, PAF LTGEN JEFFREY F DELGADO AFP, on March 5, 2016 at Villamor Golf Club, Pasay City sponsored by the Philippine Air Force Special Service Group.
The proceeds of the Golf Tournament amounting to more than P800,000.00 will be donated to the Philippine Air Force Educational Fund Incorporated (PAFEFI). The said organization is a program of PAF which grants educational assistance and scholarship to one (1) grantee per family in the Elementary, High School or College level and terminates after the grantee graduates from college, vocational or technical courses. Grantees are the legitimate, legally adopted, natural or illegitimate children of PAF military personnel who died in the line of duty or in active service.
The activity was participated by the different PAF Commanders (Unit, Wing and Division), HPAF Staffs and deputies, other Senior PAF officers from GHQ, retired officers and other invited guests. Commanding General, PAF hosted the event. Winners are the following:
