Commanding General, Philippine Air Force, LT GEN EDGAR R FALLORINA AFP donned Major General rank (2-star rank) to newly promoted general, MGEN ARNOLD A MANCITA AFP, Commander, Air Logistics Command in a simple ceremony at the CG, PAF’s office in Villamor today, March 21, 2016.
MGEN MANCITA is a member of the Philippine Military Academy “Sandiwa” Class of 1985. He is a pilot, test pilot and instructor pilot of the PAF’s UH-1H and B-412 helicopters.
Prior to his new position as the ALC Commander, he previously served as the Wing Commander of 250th Presidential Airlift Wing wherein he led the preparation related to the apostolic and state visit of Pope Francis within his jurisdiction from January 15 to 19, 2015.
He also held positions such as the Assistant Chief of Air Staff for Logistics, A-4 and the Deputy Wing Commander of the 250th PAW among many others.
MGEN MANCITA received numerous awards for his accomplishments and achievements and attended seminars here in the country and abroad to further improved his expertise and skills.
