Under orders from the new Commanding General, Phillipine Air Force, MAJOR GENERAL ALLEN T PAREDES AFP, the engineering contingent of 355th Aviation Engineer Wing (AEW) under the leadership of Wing Commander, BRIGADIER GENERAL RALPH L MAMAUAG AFP, arrived at Fernando Air Base (FAB), Lipa City, Batangas to participate in the Disaster Response and Relief Operations being undertaken by the government in relation to the Taal volcano eruption.
Members of government media such as from PTV-4, Philippine Information Agency, Philippine News Agency and RTVN, DZXL, DZRB and other local media in the province of Batangas accompanied the Wing in its mission to FAB.
