The 34th Commanding General of the Philippine Air Force belongs to the top graduates of the Philippine Military Academy Class of 1983.He then joined the Philippine Air Force where he distinguished himself as a first-rate aviator. He distinguished himself for his unsullied military record, strings of ccomplishments, professional integrity, exceptional leadership and managerial style, mission-orientedness, and above all, that superb sense of objectivity and impartiality.
He rendered very laudable service while serving in numerous significant positions, such as Element Lead of 208th Tactical Helicopter Squadron from 1985 to 1989; as Chief of Office of the Directorate for Materiel of 205th Tactical Helicopter Wing; as OIC and eventually as Assistant Chief of Plans and Special Studies Division at the Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff for Comptrollership, J6 before he became the Chief, Plans and Policy Branch; as Chiefs of AFP Evaluation and Separation Board and Post Retirement and Education Assistance Branch of the Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff for Personnel, J1 successively; as Chief AFP educational Benefit System Office and afterwards as Operations Officer of the 205th Tactical Helicopter Wing; as Group Commander of 450th Maintenance and Supply Group; as Group Commander of Tactical Operations Group Sanga-Sanga; as Chief of Air Force Resource Management Office; as Chief of Air Force Internal Auditor; as Chairman of PAF Bids and Awards Committee; as Wing Commander of 520th Air Base Wing; as Deputy Commander of 3rd Air Division; as Acting and eventually as Commander of 1st Air Division; as Chief of Air Staff and eventually as Vice Commander of the Philippine Air Force; and as The Deputy Chief of Staff, Armed Forces of the Philippines. His performance in all these positions bespeaks of his being an achiever par excellence.
He is a recipient of 70 Military Medals, most notably Distinguished Service Star (third highest military award), a Distinguished Aviation Cross Medal, a Bronze Cross Medal, a Gawad sa Kaunlaran and Sagisag ng Ulirang Kawal, among others. He is also a recipient of numerous citations, commendations and certificates of recognition and appreciation.
A Class Valedictorian during his elementary and secondary education, he also earned top honors in his military and civilian training. Besides graduating number 12 in his class from the PMA, he is also a top graduate of the Undergraduate Pilot Training (Nr 3), Comptrollership Course (Nr 2) and General Staff Course (Nr 1). And in March 1999, he finished his Master in Business Management (Major in Finance) at the renowned Asian Institute of Management in Makati City.
LIEUTENANT GENERAL FALLORINA was born on 01 November 1961 at Jaro, Leyte. He is happily married to the former Miss Erica Juliana Tiu; and blessed with a daughter, Feona, and two sons, Wrylo and Benjo.
