The 15th Strike Wing took part in the weeklong activities in celebration of the 438th Foundation Year and 69th City Charter Anniversary of Cavite City last 05-12 September 2009. Among the activities that the 15th SW enthusiastically participated in and supported were the Ciudad Alay-Lakad 2009, PCSO Medical Mission, Thanksgiving Mass, Badminton Fellowship Games and Basketball Exhibition Games.

Tactical Operations Group 8 (TOG 8), PAF headed by COL ANSELMO DP JUNSAY III PAF (MNSA) successfully conducted a Schistosomiasis Mass Treatment last 24 July 2009 at Brgy San Agustin, Palo, Leyte. The activity was made possible thru the support of the medical volunteers from Department of Health Region 8 (DOH-8), Palo Municipal Health Unit, Brgy Officials of Brgy San Agustin, Office of the Mayor of Palo, Leyte and 19TH Infantry Battalion, Philippine Army schisto medicines were provided by the Department of Health (DOH-8). The earnest endeavor benefited total of 460 indigent patients . |
