PAF CONDUCTS SIMULTANEOUS TREE- PLANTING - The Philippine Air Force conducted a simultaneous Tree-Planting activity last Saturday, May 21, 2011 in communities adjacent to all Air Force bases in Luzon, Visayas and Mindano.  In Metro Manila, the activity was conducted in Barangay Western Bicutan in Taguig City. The simultaneous event forms part of the slated activities celebrating the forthcoming 64^th foundation anniversary of the Philippine Air Force on June 1, 2011 (PIO, PAF Photo)

BRIGADA ESKWELA - Airmen  repair and paint desks after the school  clean up, part of the PAF's participation during the launch of Brigada Eskuwela, a project that aims to help public schools get ready for the school year.  Airmen assigned in different PAF bases actively take part in the annual activity that involves students, parents and the community in preparing public schools. PAF MEDCAP - Residents of 8 Barangays benefit from a simultaneous PAF MEDCAP event  held in all Air Force bases last 28 May 2011.  In Pasay,  indigent residents of Tramo and adjacent areas were given free consultation and medicines.  Air Force doctors, nurses and other healthcare personnel participated in the activity that is part of a series of events leading to the celebration of the 64th PAF anniversary on July 1. PAF RUNNERS JOIN HUMAN RIGHTS ADVOCACY RUN - Air Force Chief, Lt Gen Oscar H Rabena AFP (foreground, right), fires the starting gun to signal the start of the “Respect for Human Rights” Advocacy Run last June 4, 2011. The PAF fielded at least two hundred (200) participants who joined the event with other representatives from government agencies, law enforcement and civil society.  Inset shows Lt Gen Rabena AFP presenting a token to  Hon. Etta Rosales, Human Rights Commissioner, who addressed the crowd during the culminating program after the run.
