COL ARTURO JOSE G ORTICIO JR PAF (GSC)
is a graduate of the Philippine Military Academy Class of 1984 and the Philippine Air Force Flying School Class of 1985-B. He has commanded flying squadrons of the then 100th Training Wing and the 5th Fighter Wing, and the Tactical Operations Group 8. He has been nurtured in staff functions of operations and plans having been designated as Director for Operations at the Air Defense Wing, and as the Executive Officer of the AC of AS for Plans, A-5. LTCOL ORTICIO has been a product of the Air Force Officer School professional military education courses. He has been attached in the Royal Australian Air Force Aerospace Center and schooled in the US Naval Postgraduate School. He has accumulated more than 3,200 flying hours flying the T-41D, SF-260MP / TP, T-33A, AS-211, and F-5A/B.
MAJOR ARMAN G MAMPUSTI PAF
is a graduate of BS in Avionics and Communication Engineering. He is a member of PAF Flying School Class of 1994 and is currently the Director for Personnel. He was initially assigned as an instructor pilot with 100/AETC and as a combat-ready pilot with the 17 AS of 15 SW. He checked out as a Test Pilot, Flight Examiner and a Flight Commander in all the aircraft he has flown. He took his SOC at the AFOS and graduated number 3 in a class of 42 , and was awarded the distinguished Graduate Award.
MAJOR FRANCIS KAREM E NERI PAF
is a former Aviation Cadet of PAF Flying School Class of 1995B, “Wings of Deliverance”. After earning his wings he was later assigned to 5th Fighter Wing at Basa Air Base, Pampanga, performing Air Defense and other tactical missions from 1995 to 2002. Afterwards he was assigned to various PAF units, including Air Defense Command and the Office of the Assistant Command Chief of Air Staff for Education & Training, A-8. On 2005, he completed his Squadron Officers Course at the Air University, Maxwell Air Force Base, Alabama, USA. He completed his Masters Degree in Management, Major in Public Administration at the Philippine Christian University on 2008. He joined the faculty of the Air Force Officer School on July 2005. At present he heads the Military Science Application Department of the School, teaching various subjects in Military History, Modern Warfare, Air Power and Field Leadership. He also teaches Air Power History for the Air Power Institute.
MAJOR ROLANDO CONRAD BOADO PEÑA III O-12368 PAF
is a PMA Cavalier, member of “Kalasag - Lahi” Class of 1997. He is an Ilocano by blood and lineage but Kapampangan by birth. He is also a member of PAFFS Class 1999. His first stint as a pilot was with 5 Fighter Wing where he became a Combat-Ready (CR) pilot of the AS-211 jet aircraft. From 1999 - 2008, he had held various positions involving personnel management and operations as well as performed special and personal staff functions of the Air Defense Wing. Prior to his assignment to AFOS, he was the Squadron Commander of 542 Air Base Squadron, ADW. In 2005, he completed his Masters Degree in Management, Major in Public Management at the University of the Philippines, Clarkfield Pampanga. He took up the AFP Logistics Officer Intermediate Course (AFPLOIC) in 2006, and in 2007, he completed his International Flight Safety Officer Course (IFSOC) at the Air Force Safety Center, Kirtland AFBase, New Mexico and the Jet Engine Mishap Investigation Course (JEMIC) at Shepard AFBase, Texas, USA. In the same year, he topped his Squadron Officer Course Class 2007B at AFOS.
CPT MARVIN D SUFICIENCIA PAF
is the Chief of the Course Implementation Division and the Course Director of Squadron Officer Course Class of 2008B. This is his first assignment upon returning from New Zealand where he took the RNZAF Junior Staff Course in early 2008. Previously, he was assigned at the Philippine Air Force Officers Candidate School of the AETC as its Director for Materiel concurrent to being an instructor pilot in the Philippine Air Force Flying School (PAFFS). He also held the position of Squadron Commander of the 732 Civil Security Squadron op-con to the Anti-Crime Task Force, AFP. He is a member of the Philippine Military Academy Class of 1999 and PAFFS Class of 2000B.CPT SUFICIENCIA PAF is happily married and blessed with three precocious boys.
MAJOR MA CONSUELO N CASTILLOPAF
is one of the first female graduates of the Philippine Military Academy. She is a member of the PMA Kalasag-lahi Class of 1997, and the Philippine Air Force Flying School Class of 1999. After earning her pilot wings, she made another first by being the pioneer female UH-1H pilot of the Philippine Air Force. She was assigned with the 205 Tactical Helicopter Wing for almost eight years , where she was eventually checked out as Flight Commander of the UH-1H helicopter. Her young years as an officer and pilot were generously spent in the field, performing combat support missions in the enemy-infested areas of Luzon and Mindanao. CPT NUNAG, who is currently the Head of the Military Science Department, is also a graduate of this same school , where she topped her BAFOC Class in 1997. In 2008, she completed her Squadron Officer School (SOC equivalent) at the Air University, Maxwell AFB, Alabama, USA. She likewise finished the Basic Instructor Course in Sheppard AFB, Wichita Falls, Texas, USA.BON, as she is known to peers, is blissfully married to CPT CHARLES DZ CASTILLO of the Philippine Army, with whom she was blessed with a 2 year old daughter .
CAPTAIN MARK ANTHONY P QUILLOY PAF
is a PMA Cavalier, member of “Mabikas” Class of 1996. His flying career started when he graduated from the PAFFS, being an alumnus and member of Class 1998. Straight from flying training at Lipa, he was assigned at 15 Strike Wing at Sangley Air Base, Cavite where he was later checked-out as a Combat-Ready (CR) pilot of MG 520 Attack Helicopter. From 1998 up to 2004, he held various positions and was deployed at Mindanao and Visayas areas. Before being assigned to Air Force Officer School, he completed his Advance Intelligence Course at Fort Huachuca, Arizona, USA.
2LT MARIO C MENDOZA JR O-15576 PAF
is a Class 2008 Graduate of United States Air Force Academy (USAFA) with a degree in Bachelor of Science in Systems Engineering and Management. In the Academy, he was awarded as one of the Distinguished Graduates of the Department of Management. As a cadet he worked as one of the Project Managers of the Fighter Sized Target Design Project of the Department of Aeronautical in Engineering in partnership with the Office of the Secretary of National Defense, Pentagon, Washington D.C. Prior to his schooling abroad, he was a cadet in the Philippine Military Academy, Class 2007. He also studied at University of the Philippines Los Banos and a member of the UP Vanguard Inc.
Ms Marilou Elefante Ranario
is a graduate from the University of Santo Tomas with a degree of Bachelor of Science in Foods and Nutrition. She took her masters in Management major in Public Administration at the Philippine Christian University (PCU). Likewise, she is pursuing her Doctoral Degree in Development Administration from the same university (PCU).Ms Ranario joined the faculty of the Air Foce Officer School in 2004. Prior to this assignment she has been teaching in the different training institutions of the Philippine Air Force. Likewise, she has been invited as guest lecturer in different units of the Armed Forces of the Philippines and in non-governmental agencies on subjects such as value formation and work ethics. Aside from the usual communication and management subjects she handles, her area of expertice is in the conduct of the Academic Instructor Course.
Of the various training courses she has attended locally and abroad, several courses played a key factor for her to focus in the training and education field. They are: the Personnel Officer Cource at the Philippine Air Force Technical Training Center, the Academic Instructor Course at the Philippine Air Force Flying School and the Advanced Management Program at the National Defense College, Washington DC
