600th ABW WELCOME NEW COMMANDER
The 600th Air Base Wing welcomes its new Commander today. Air Force Chief Lt Gen Oscar H Rabena presided over the formal Change of Command Ceremony held at the Officers’ Club, Air Force City in Clark Air Base.
The event started with the presentation of award to the outgoing Wing Commander, Brig Gen Cruz Jr.AFP. He was earlier named to assume the top position at the AFP Civil Relations Service. To assume command of the 600th Air Base Wing is Brig Gen Dominador J Aquino III AFP.
Formal change of command ceremony is a tradition that emphasizes the orderly and proper turnover of responsibilities and duties. It gives due recognition to the outgoing commander and welcomes the incoming new leader.
The changes in positions of senior officers in the PAF keeps the Command dynamic and ensures opportunities for vibrant continuity of projects that will better serve the people and to carry on with the demands of a highly dynamic organization such as the PAF.#
