H740TH CG CONDUCT INFO DRIVE; SEMINAR

 

Information Drive cum Seminar was conducted by the 740th Combat Group under LtCol Arnel L Villareal PAF, last January 13, 2010.

The event also featured resourced speakers and members of the Philippine Coconut Authority (PCA).  The activity served a dual purpose in providing awareness for local residents about the disruptive influence of the CPP/NPA/NDF while the lecture conducted by the Mr. Jojo Alcantara, head of the Philippine Coconut Authority gave farmers pointers that will help in productive farming.

 

On the same date, members of the 741st CS volunteered to donate life-saving blood at the Batangas Regional Hospital. The personnel from 741st CS, AM Pante and AM Limbaga went to the hospital to donate blood to baby girl Shaine Pedragoza, a patient reported suffering from Leukemia.

The Batangas-based 740th CG periodically conducts community-reach out projects especially to marginalized barangays to support the Air Force’s commitment to serve and to be responsive to community development.
