2-DAY CMO WORKSHOP ON

The two-day seminar workshop sponsored by the Office of the Assistant Chief of Air Staff for Civil Military Operation A-7, led by Colonel Romeo Taguinod and his A-7 staff,  opened  today at the Hall of Flags at Air Force Headquarters.  Air Force Vice Commander, Maj Gen Rolando Capacia AFP was Keynote Speaker during the conduct of the event.

At least 45 CMO officers from the different PAF units attended the event that hopes to renew and strengthen the network of civil military operation officers and practitioners of the Philippine Air Force.  The activity focuses to strategize  for more CMO-related accomplishments and renew resolve to invite and sustain the respect and support of the civilian populace.

The workshop also intends to provide  a venue to review and focus on pressing concerns in CMO areas of operation and find resolution on these raised difficulties.   It is also viewed as a gathering of CMO practitioners where they will be updated on latest CMO-related pronouncements from higher headquarters.

Participants will have lectures on such topics as Wide Area Operations, Web of Deception, CMO Road Map and very interesting insights on how to handle and maintain cordial relations with the members of the fourth estate.  Output presentation will highlight the second day of the 2-day activity.  

It is expected that the event will encourage active participation to learn and relearn new ways to be effective in winning the hearts and minds of the public.
