TOP AFP OFFICERS AT AFPMC GIFT-GIVING

           The AFP Chief of Staff, Gen Victor S Ibrado AFP led yesterday’s Hospital Visitation and Gift-Giving for soldiers confined at the AFP Medical Center, V. Luna General Hospital.  Top officers of the AFP major service commands were also present.

            A simple program held in the AFP Auditorium preceded the gift-giving activity.  Each of the major service commanders - Air Force Commanding General, Lt Gen Oscar H Rabena AFP, Philippine Army Chief, Lt Gen Delfin N Bangit AFP and Philippine Navy Flag Officer in Command VAdm Ferdinand S. Golez AFP – delivered their Christmas Message.  At least forty (40) Air Force soldiers received gifts from Lt Gen Rabena.

            After the distribution of gifts at the auditorium, the guests proceeded to the Heroes’ Ward to visit battle casualty patients.  Gen Ibrado presented medals of   recognition to selected wounded soldiers and handed out gift baskets as well.

            The hospital visitation and gift-giving of AFP top officers to soldiers confined in AFPMC is a tradition that not only shows support to soldiers but a morale-boosting  gesture of goodwill and showing that the AFP spreads the joy of the season to their confined comrades. #
